The first dozen times I practiced Yoga, I hated it. I’d dragged myself to class based on my physio’s recommendation, after yet another over exercising-induced injury. I didn’t fit the profile of a “yogi”—I was a gym-rat, and proud of it. Like a doctor who smoked, I was a personal trainer who never stretched; and an aspiring psychotherapist who never addressed my anxiety.
