I love being involved in the Semperviva Yoga Teacher Training because I feel it’s one of the most life transforming things you can do for yourself. Whether you choose to teach or not, your personal discoveries along your journey stay with you forever. To teach and share this experience with others is truly a gift that I feel fortunate to be involved in, as we awaken the gateway to find our true potential.

You can spend countless hours reading yoga philosophy but to come together as a group of intrigued minds takes the learning to a whole new level. We all learn, grow and discover together; starting as strangers but in the end become a family of friends. These often turn into relationships that last a lifetime.

With a background in Dance, I first came to yoga to find another form of expression through my body. I immediately fell in love with the endless possibilities not only to expand the body but also the mind. Yoga takes me to a place where I feel connected with my body, mind and spirit. It carries me out of the busyness of life and into the reality of the moment.

I was inspired and motivated by the core trainers, and continually awed by the guest yogis brought in for weekend retreats. — Jay Suttonbrown
